This week on Legal Social S2 Episode 9, we explore “Justice for Everyone” and break down how the courts work, why cases can take so long, and what happens behind the scenes before a case reaches its conclusion. Joining us is Samson, Samson is a lawyer, media practitioner, trainer and consultant, and holds an LL.M in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). He is a governance advocate who has worked with leading institutions including UNESCO, TI-Ghana, CDD/CODEO, the Ghana Anti-Corruption Coalition and the Judicial Service of Ghana. His work with the Judicial Service contributed to the development of rules to fast-track the adjudication of presidential election petitions. A major crusader for the passage of Ghana’s Right to Information Law, Samson has also served on boards and committees of the University of Education, Winneba, the University of Ghana, the RTI Commission and the GFA Normalisation Committee’s Disciplinary Committee. He is a Fellow of the Aspen Institute’s Africa Leadership Initiative – West Africa (ALIWA) and was one of two Africans appointed to the Board of the International Lawyers Assisting Workers (ILAW) Network. He has also served as a guest lecturer at institutions including the University of Ghana, GIMPA, UPSA and Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts.
